unfolding

unfolding is a collection of one hundred and one pieces, each a fixed set of arc-wedges decided at mint and turning perpetually ever since. As each section rotates, overlaps with others and interacts via differing blend modes to create momentary transitions; shapes are continually made and unmade. The recipe is fixed, the moment never is. This collection is, above all, a study in constraint and the perpetual creation and destruction in motion.
