1. How each print is made
When you order, your print is made especially for you. It comes to me first to be checked, signed, numbered and certified by hand, then packed and sent on. Nothing is warehoused, and nothing leaves without passing through my hands.
2. The editions
Every piece is a limited edition, unless otherwise explicitly stated. Some are offered in more than one size, and each size is its own edition with its own count. The exact edition sizes, and how many of each remain, are clearly shown on every piece at the point of ordering.
3. Signed and numbered
Each print is signed and numbered by hand, as its edition fraction, for example 4/10 signifying the fourth copy of a piece in an edition of ten.
4. Certificate of authenticity
Each print ships with a signed certificate recording the title, size, edition number and date, so its provenance travels with it.
5. Paper and printing
Giclée (archival pigment) on 100% cotton rag, rated for well over 100 years of lightfastness. Printed to order in the UK by a Fine Art Trade Guild printer.
6. Pricing
Prices are set per piece and are shown on each one, nett of shipping. Some editions are priced dynamically: the price steps up as the edition sells, so early collectors pay the least. The current price is always the one shown on the piece.
7. Care and framing
Handle by the edges and frame behind glass, away from direct sun. Prints ship unframed, rolled or flat depending on size, ready for standard A-size frames or mounts.
8. Shipping and returns
I ship items internationally and shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Because each print is made and finished by hand to order, please allow at least two weeks from order to delivery, then tracked worldwide shipping. As each is made and signed to order, returns are limited to items damaged in transit.
